Maximizing Core Logging Efficiency

I’ve been diving deep into core logging techniques lately, especially during our recent campaign in West Texas. I’ve found that using the latest imaging tools has drastically improved our data quality and interpretation speed. How do you all manage to keep your core logging efficient while balancing the different demands of a drilling program?

It sounds like you’re on the right track with those imaging tools! I’ve found that regular team check-ins help keep everybody on the same page while logging. It’s like herding cats, but sometimes you just need a little catnip to keep things moving smoothly. How are you finding the balance between logging detail and speed?

Those imaging tools can be game-changers! I still think regular data reviews post-logging help fine-tune our processes. Have you tried that yet? @samrodr.

I’ve found incorporating a labeling system for core samples really helps streamline the logging process. It minimizes confusion when analyzing data later. Have you thought about adding something like that to your setup, @george28?
